Whether the judgment should be reported in the digest? ARUN PALLI, J. (ORAL) This order shall decide Regular First Appeal Nos. 1937 of 2002, 1225, 4180 of 2003 and 1575 of 2004.

Counsel for the parties are ad idem that the matter in issue in these appeals is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this court, dated 28.1.2013, in RFA No.4129 of 2003 " Surinder Rani and others versus State of Punjab", vide which compensation awarded to the land owners was enhanced to Rs.9,36,000/- per acre, with statutory benefits, as were admissible, to the land-owners. And, in the appeals preferred by certain land owners, titled Prakash Wati and others etc. vs. State of Punjab and others etc., including Surinder Rani and others versus State of Punjab, the Hon'ble Supreme Court, (in Civil Appeals Nos. 7686-7687 of 2014), vide its order dated 11.8.2014, had further enhanced the compensation by Rs. one lac per acre, in terms of its decision in the case of Kapoor Singh etc. etc. versus State of Punjab and another etc.

etc, (Civil Appeal Nos. 738-748 of 2014. Thus, these appeals be disposed of in terms of order dated 11.8.2014, referred to above. In conspectus of the position, as set out above, these appeals are disposed of in terms of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, dated 11.8.2014, rendered in Civil Appeals Nos.7686-7687 of 2014 titled Prakash Wati and others etc. vs. State of Punjab and others etc.
