Union of India and another ....Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAGMOHAN BANSAL

Present:

Mr. Mohit Saini, Advocate for Mr. Kushagra Beniwal, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Amit Sharma, Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India *** JAGMOHAN BANSAL, J. (ORAL) 1.

The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue her passport.

2.

Mr. Mohit Saini, Advocate, inter alia contends that actual date of birth of petitioner is 10.04.1963 whereas in her earlier passport it was wrongly recorded as 15.10.1965. All the documents of the petitioner are disclosing her date of birth as 10.04.1963. There is mismatch of date of birth in the passport vis-a-vis other documents. She has applied for reissuance of passport with correct date of birth, however, respondents till date has not issued passport.
