Learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. However, he states that the petitioner has been in custody since 05.04.2019 and charges were framed on 29.08.2019, however, till date, no witness has been examined.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off with a request to the Trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously and in any case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Disposed off accordingly.
