SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C is for issuing necessary directions to respondent No.2 to transfer the investigation/enquiry of complaint bearing No.674 PDGP dated 29.09.2020 and complaint dated 02.03.2020 filed against the petitioner and his family with a view to harass him and his family and to put him in position to compromise his litigation with respondent No.7.
Upon notice, a reply by way of affidavit dated 22.10.2024 of Dhanpreet Kaur IPS, IGP, Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana has been filed along with the enquiry report, which is taken on record. Copy has been furnished to counsel opposite.
Learned State counsel would submit that in the wake of contents of the enquiry report (Annexure R-1/T) as also the reply, no grievance is left as far as prayer made in this petition is concerned and the same may be disposed of as having become infructuous.
Disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to take recourse to any other alternative legal remedy, as per law, if so advised.
