**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.29 dated 28.02.2019 registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC at P.S. Dhanaula, District Barnala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the execution of writing, if any, before the Police was on account of evil design of the Police Officer. Petitioner never undertook to pay an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- as compensation to the complainant. The controversy is primarily revolving around the civil consequences. Petitioner was earlier granted interim bail on 19.03.2019 by the Court of Sessions and he had already joined MOHMED ATIK 2021.10.01 18:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel duly assisted by learned counsel for the complainant opposed the bail on the ground that the presence of the petitioner was recorded in the CCTV footages and dispute is in respect of cheating for an amount of Rs.3 lakhs.

Learned counsel for the petitioner again submits that in compliance of the order dated 23.05.2019, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Nirmal Singh admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required in further investigation of the case.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 23.05.2019 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands disposed of.
