In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is for the grant of minimum pay-scale as admissible to the regular employees keeping in view the principle of 'equal Pay for equal work'. The reliance is being placed upon the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 213 of 2013 titled as 'State of Punjab and others v. Jagjit Singh and others' decided on 26.10.2016.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that after the judgment passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Jagjit Singh's case (supra), the instructions have already been issued by the Government of Haryana on 03.11.2017 as to how, the ad-hoc employees are to be paid. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that once the policy have already been issued by the Government, no further directions needs to be issued.

CWP No.9265-2019 -22023:PHHC: 162519 been implemented qua him, he is free to raise objection by filing an appropriate representation qua the said grievance with the concerned authority and the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation by passing appropriate speaking order by considering the same under the instructions dated 03.11.2017 and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit, the same will be extended to him within further period of four weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed, at this stage, with liberty to file an appropriate representation with the authorities concerned claiming the benefit of minimum pay-scale under the instructions dated 03.11.2017. 5.

Ordered accordingly.
