The present petition has been filed under Section 407 CrPC read with Section 482 CrPC seeking transfer of the cases titled as 'State of Punjab Vs. Parminder Singh and others" bearing FIR No.33 dated 24.05.2016 under Sections 498-A/406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Sandaur, Tehsil Malerkotla, District Sangrur pending in the Court of JMIC, Malerkotla (Annexure P-5) and the revision petition bearing CRR-60-2018 filed by the petitioner against the order dated 21.04.2018 pending in the Court of ASJ, Sangrur (Annexure P-6) to the Courts of competent jurisdiction at Barnala.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 states that respondent No.2 (husband of the petitioner) would have no objection if the aforesaid cases are transferred to the Courts of competent jurisdiction at Barnala as all other cases arising out of the matrimonial discord are pending at the Courts at Barnala.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondent No.2, the present petition is allowed and the cases titled as 'State of Punjab Vs. Parminder Singh and others" bearing FIR No.33 dated 24.05.2016 under Sections 498-A/406 of IPC registered at Police Station Sandaur, Tehsil Malerkotla, District Sangrur pending in the Court of JMIC, Malerkotla (Annexure P-5) and the revision petition bearing CRR-60-2018 filed by the petitioner against the order dated 21.04.2018 pending in the Court of ASJ, Sangrur (Annexure P-6) are withdrawn from those Courts and are transferred to the Courts of competent jurisdiction at Barnala. The records of the cases shall be transmitted by the concerned Court to the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, Barnala and the parties shall appear there on 18.09.2023 at 10.00 a.m.

Disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
