M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioner No.1 has filed a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, against respondent Nos.4 & 5 Annexure P2 & P1 respectively and being aggrieved the respondents had threatened and attacked petitioner No.1 on 13.8.2015. It is claimed by the petitioners that the entire episode has been recorded in CCTV camera installed in the shop of the petitioners.

Through the instant petition a prayer has been made for direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, (Rural) Amritsar, to look into the allegations regarding the threat having been given to the petitioners.

Notice of motion to the Advocate General, Punjab. On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted

CRM-M-30316-2015 (O&M) by Mr.Jashan Preet Singh, AAG., Punjab, present in the Court. Copy given.

Without expression of any opinion regarding the truthfulness of the allegations in the complaint AnnexureP4, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural) Amritsar, to look into the allegations in complaint Annexure P4 and take appropriate action in case circumstances so warrant.
