Coram:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....

Present:

Mr. Bhupinder Gupta, Advocate for Mr. Digvijay Nagpal, Advocate for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.11 dated 8.3.2018 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Amir Khas, District Ferozepur. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the allegations in the FIR, the present petitioner obtained forged Jamabandi in connivance with the Revenue Patwari showing no entry of mortgage of the land with the Bank. There are also allegations against the present petitioner that he also forged the clearance certificate issued by the Bank loan and then sold the property. In view of the fact that the present petitioner had forged the Harpal Singh Parmar 2018.08.03 17:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-31287 of 2018 [2] documents, he is required for custodial interrogation, hence I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
