1. Petitioner No.1-Shivani aged about 20 years who is stated to be already married to respondent No.4-Sarwan Kumar and petitioner No.2-Abishak Kumar aged about 21 years, both of whom are in a 'live-in' relationship, have approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to official respondents to protect their lives and liberty as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.4 and 5, who do not approve of their 'live-in' relationship.

3. At this stage, Mr. Gauravdeep Singh Dhaliwal, AAG, Punjab, has appeared and accepts notice. 4. In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

5. However, in case at any later state, the petitioners apprehend any threat to their lives and liberty, it shall be open to the petitioners to approach this Court again.
