FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioners have come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of mandamus by directing the respondents to promote petitioners No. 4 and 5 as Accountant Grade II notionally from the date their junior/respondent No. 3 had been promoted and further promote all the petitioners as Accountant Grade I from the date their junior/respondent No. 3 had been promoted alongwith all consequential benefits including interest

CWP 9745 of 2021 (O&M) @ 12 per annum, for which, a legal notice dated 07.01.2021 (Annexure P-14) has also been served upon the respondent authorities.

Heard.

In the light of oral submissions of the petitioner side the directions are issued to the respondent authorities to duly consider the legal notice dated 07.01.2021 (Annexure P-14) as representation of the petitioners and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.
