(ORAL) The petitioner through the instant petition is seeking direction to trial court to conclude the proceedings arising out of complaint which the petitioner has filed under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (in short "D.V.Act").

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that complaint was filed on 01.10.2015 seeking maintenance, however, till date neither petitioner has been granted interim maintenance nor final order has been passed though a period of eight years has passed away. The object of filing petition under Section 12 of D.V.Act is defeating. This Court is not oblivious of the fact that Family Courts are over burdened, however, keeping in mind that petitioner had filed petition under Section 12 of D.V.Act on 01.10.2015 and she is not PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.04.12 16:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
