CHANDIGARH (213) RSA-1202-1999(O&M) Date of Decision:-24.02.2026 Mukesh Kumar Jain and Others ......Appellants
Versus
Dr. Bashesher Prasad Aggarwal ......Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL ****
Present:
None.
**** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (Oral) 1.
A perusal of the case file reveals that the appellants have remained unrepresented on the last two consecutive dates of hearing, i.e., 20.01.2026 and 13.11.2025. Despite sufficient opportunities, no steps have been taken by the appellants to pursue the present appeal and even today, no one has appeared on their behalf.
2.
In these circumstances, it is evident that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present appeal pending on the docket for an indefinite period.
3.
It thus appears that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the present appeal.
4.
Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed in default for want of prosecution.
