(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to grant approval to the petitioner's appointment as Salesman in The Sudhar Multipurpose Cooperative Societies Limited in terms of the relevant Instructions and Punbjab Cooperative Societies Rules, 1963 or in alternative, it be held that the petitioner's appointment as Salesman with respondent No.5 from 27.11.2024 is valid.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.
