Prayer in this petition is for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.64 dated 01.05.2015 under Sections 376/511 IPC and Sections 4/6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, registered at Police Station Sarhali, District Tarn Taran. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Satnam Singh, informs that the prosecution evidence in this case was concluded by 16.10.2017 and the matter is thereafter listed for defence evidence. In this view of the matter, no ground is made out for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner, at this stage. Dismissed.
