*** Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Bajinder singh states that petitioner, while being lodged in Central Jail, Ludhiana has committed suicide on 5.8.2018 regarding which DDR No. 9 dated 5.8.2018 has been recorded at Police Station, Division No. 7, Ludhiana. This is so mentioned in the custody certificate placed on record by the State counsel. It being so, the present petition for regular bail filed by petitioner Harpreet Singh @ Sabu has become infructuous and is dismissed accordingly.
