The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

[2] This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 47 dated 5th April, 2021, under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda. [3] This Court vide order dated 18th May, 2021 granted the interim bail to the petitioner subject to joining investigation. [4] Learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurmail Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 25th May, 2021 and is co-operating.

[5] As no custodial interrogation is needed, the interim bail granted on 18th May, 2021 is made absolute.

[6] Disposed of accordingly.
