The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 02.02.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-2370-2026, whereby direction was issued to the respondent to decide the representation dated 02.12.2025 filed by the petitioner. 2.

In compliance of the order dated 02.02.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-2370-2026, learned counsel for the respondent has produced a compliance affidavit dated 19.04.2026 of Sartaj Singh Chahal, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Sangrur, along with Annexures R-1 to R-3), on behalf of the respondent in the Court. A perusal of the said compliance affidavit shows that order dated 02.02.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-2370-2026 has been complied with.

In view of the above, since order dated 02.02.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-2370-2026, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 09.04.2026 (Annexure R-3) passed by the Superintendent of Police (PBI), Sangrur.
