The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, praying therein for issuance of appropriate directions to official respondents to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 & 5. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, at this stage, restricts his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide the representation dated 12.03.2026 (Annexure P.5) moved by the petitioners in time bound manner. 4.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Shubham Mangla, Addl. Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of respondents-UT Chd. 6.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to look into the representation 12.03.2026 (Annexure P.5) and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
