**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 76 dated 9.3.2016 registered at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur under Sections 366(A), 376 IPC and Section 4 of POCSO Act. The prosecutrix has accused her mother's sister (masi) of running a brothel. She has also named Nirmal Singh-petitioner. She was living with Surinder Kaur for the last two years. The prosecutrix was present in the Court in a connected petition filed by Anju Rani wherein she has stated that she wanted to marry Navdeep but Surinder Kaur did not allow her to marry as the boy was of a different caste. The petitioner is in custody for the last two months. Challan has not been presented yet.
Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2016.09.15 10:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
