**** JITENDRA CHAUHAN, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing in the light of the pandemic COVID-19 situation and as per instructions. This Contempt petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 has been filed for summoning and punishing the respondents for wilful and deliberate disobedience of order dated 22.05.2019 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-13267-2017 titled as Vikas Choudhary Versus State of Haryana and others.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 3 has circulated a communication dated 22.09.2020 issued on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor by the Office of Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar which records that in pursuance of the order dated 21.09.2020 passed in COCP No. 1120 of 2020, the Vice-Chancellor has been JYOTI 2020.09.25 15:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-1120-2020 pleased to grant the pay scale of `15600-39100 with Grade Pay of `7600 to Sh. Vikas Choudhary i.e. the petitioner. The communication dated 22.09.2020 is taken on record as Mark 'A'. Whereas, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is not entitled to the relief granted by the Vice-Chancellor. As per the reply filed on behalf of respondent No. 2, copy of the recommendation made by the Vice-Chancellor is not traceable, whereas it is pointed that by learned counsel for respondent No. 3 that the recommendation is Annexure P-16 annexed with the petition.

The Court feels that the issue raised by the learned State counsel is inter-se the University and respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The petitioner is employee of respondent No. 3. In view of the office order dated 22.09.2020 (Mark 'A') issued by the Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar the rule is discharged. Disposed of in the above terms.
