*** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition is seeking direction to Family Court at SAS Nagar, Mohali to expeditiously adjudicate the petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner filed a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. before Family Court at SAS Nagar, Mohali in the year 2018 and thereafter an application seeking interim maintenance was filed, however, till date neither main petition nor interim petition has been adjudicated.

This Court is not oblivious of the fact that the Family Courts are over-burdened, however, keeping in mind the fact that petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. was filed in 2018 and application seeking interim maintenance was filed in 2019 and till date, application even seeking interim maintenance has not been adjudicated, the trial Court is requested to expedite disposal of application seeking interim maintenance and preferably ANJU GOEL 2023.04.13 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
