******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned State counsel submits that there is no case against the petitioner. In fact the police has registered case bearing FIR No. 117 dated 17.8.2015 for offence punishable under Sections 21/25/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotripic Substances Act in which challan has already been presented. Another FIR No. 170 dated 28.9.2012 for offence punishable under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of Officials Secrets Acts, 1923 was also registered against the petitioner at Police Station Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran. This matter was investigated by Central Bureau of Investigation and challan has been presented in court.

As the petitioner is not required by the police in this case, the instant petition has become infructuous.

Dismissed being infructuous.
