The petitioners have laid challenge to the order dated 07.07.2004 rendered by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench, Chandigarh, in O.A. No. 1259/CH/2002, whereby the directions were issued to respondents No.2 to 4 to prepare fresh seniority list of persons holding the posts of Lecturers and circulate the same for inviting objections, if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order, and thereafter, to finalist the seniority list. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Chandigarh Administration has submitted that in sequel to the directions issued vide NAROTAM DASS 2019.01.24 18:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC CHANDIGARH
CWP No. 12259 of 2015 -2order dated 07.07.2004, the tentative seniority list was prepared. Thereafter, fresh seniority list was circulated vide circular dated 03.01.1998. In view of this, present writ petition has become infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
However, before parting with the order, it is made clear that new seniority list be given effect.
