Bihari Lal v. Bachna Ram.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH RSA No. 1949 of 1998 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 12.12.2025 Bihari Lal (since deceased) through LRs ...Appellants
Versus
Bachna Ram (since deceased) through LRs and others ...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- Mr. Damanjeet Singh, Advocate for Mr. Vidul Kapoor, Advocate for the appellants. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
Learned counsel appearing for the appellant on the previous date has submitted that appellant is not in touch with the counsel, so notice was issued. Appellants No. 1(A), 1(C) & 1(D) are duly served but none has come present. Even the counsel has submitted that none of the appellants has approached the counsel. It seems that appellants are not interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellants to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
