***** Sandeep Moudgil, J.(Oral) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant retrospective promotion to the petitioner from the date on which the Scheduled Caste roster point meant for him in the light of Haryana Govt. Policy dated 15.07.2014 (P-3) with all consequential benefits. 2.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied, in case a direction is issued to respondents to consider the legal notice dated 06.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) within a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.2 Chief Engineer, Panchayati Raj Public Works, Haryana is directed to consider and decide the legal notice dated 06.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.
