A startling revelation has been made by the petitioners that illegal mining is going on in the land of Gram Panchayat of village Bhagwanpur, Tehsil Bilaspur, District Yamuna Nagar. The Deputy Commissioner, Yamuna Nagar, in his reply has admitted about the illegal mining going on in the area. Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Yamuna Nagar, to ensure that the illegal mining going on in the area is stopped forthwith. It is made clear that stringent action be taken against the persons, who were and are involved in illegal mining in the area.
