Mr. Nirmal Singh, Advocate for the complainant. DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) Status report by way of an affidavit of Shri Veer Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), Karnal along with Annexures R-1 to R-5 filed on behalf of respondent-State has been filed. Learned State counsel concedes that in compliance of the order dated 21.11.2023, petitioner has since joined the investigation. However, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is not identifying three other assailants, who are appearing in the CCTV footage.

The said contention itself cannot be a ground to decline the benefit of granting anticipatory bail.

As such, order dated 11.04.2023 passed by this Court to be read with order dated 21.11.2023, whereby petitioner was earlier granted interim anticipatory bail, is hereby made absolute. However, he shall continue to join investigation, if and so required by the Investigating Officer.

Disposed of.
