The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.34 dated 10.3.2018 registered for the offences under Section 409 IPC and Section 13(1)(c) of Prevention of Corruption Act at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that as per the allegations in the FIR, the present petitioner Vishal Chalotra, Clerk has embezzled the amount which he had withdrawn as excess salary. As per the document (Annexure-P.3) which is a letter written by the Principal Government Senior Secondary School, Badala, Amritsar to the S.H.O., Police Station Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, allegations are that after conducting audit by the Audit Party, Harpal Singh Parmar 2018.07.30 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-31624 of 2018 [2] financial fraud of total `34,68,550/- by present petitioner, who was posted as Clerks, has been found.

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offences and in the facts and circumstances of the case, I find that custodial interrogation of the present petitioner is required in this case, hence I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
