Prayer in this criminal miscellaneous application is for re-calling of the order dated 11.9.2015, whereby CRM-M-306652015 was dismissed for want of prosecution. After hearing learned counsel for the applicant/petitioners and going through the contents of the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, order dated

11.9.2015, is re-called and it is directed that CRM-M-30665-2015 be restored to its original number.

In view of the hardship shown by learned counsel for the applicant/petitioners, CRM-M-30665-2015, is taken on today's board for final disposal.

Criminal miscellaneous application stands disposed of.

CRM-M-30665-2015:

Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C., is for the issuance of directions to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to protect lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 5 and 6. The petitioners contend that they being major, have solemnized their marriage in accordance with law. They further submit that respondent Nos. 5 and 6 are not accepting their marriage and adamant to separate them from each other by resorting to illegal means. They further submit that in view of the imminent danger to their lives and liberty, the petitioners have already moved a representation (Annexure P-5) before respondent No. 3/Station House Officer, Police Station, Majitha, District Amritsar.

Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter but

without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3/ Station House Officer, Police Station, Majitha, District Amritsar, to take action as warranted by law on the representation moved by the petitioners and in the meantime to issue necessary orders to ensure that no harm is caused to the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 5 and 6.
