NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J (Oral) CRM-29542-2015 After hearing learned counsel for the applicants and going through the contents of the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, the same is allowed. The applicants are granted exemption from filing the certified copies of Annexures P-1 to P-3 and P-5.

is for the issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 5 not to harass the petitioners and their family members and to protect lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 6 to 8 . The petitioners contend that they being major, have solemnized their marriage in accordance with law. They further submit that respondent Nos. 6 to 8 are not accepting their marriage and adamant to separate them from each other by resorting to illegal means. They further submit that in view of the imminent danger to their lives and liberty, the petitioners already moved a representation (Annexure P-5) before Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala.

Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter but without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, to take action as warranted by law on the representation moved by the petitioners and in the meantime to issue necessary orders to ensure that no harm is caused to the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 6 to 8.
