(Oral) The petitioners Jaspal Singh, Jaskaran Singh and Mankaran Singh seek grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against them vide FIR No.51 dated 5.7.2018 under Sections 379, 201, 447, 511, 34 IPC at Police Station Nurmahal, District Jalandhar. The present case is in fact a case of dispute amongst brothers regarding possession of land. The parties had been litigating and the matter was earlier pending before Financial Commissioner (Taxation) Punjab and the petitioner had been directed to handover possession of the land in dispute while the complainant had been directed to compensate the accused to the tune of ` 84,000/- in respect of standing crops. The allegations levelled in the FIR are mainly to the effect that despite the aforesaid matter having been decided by the revenue authorities, the petitioners had forcibly harvested the crops.

- 2 - CRM-M-31672-2018 (O&M) Today, the learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the parties, being brothers, have amicably resolved their disputes. Shri Jasraj, Advocate representing the complainant has endorsed the aforesaid factum of compromise amongst the parties.

In view of the aforestated position and the fact that both the parties are inter se related, being brothers and are stated to have effected compromise, the interim directions issued vide order dated 27.7.2018 are hereby made absolute.

The petition stands accepted accordingly.
