As per affidavit of Sohan Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Divison Anjala, respondent No. 6-Manpreet Singh was allowed parole for 6 weeks on 07.03.2018 and now he had surrendered after completion of parole period on 04.08.2018.

The petitioner has challenged the grant of parole to respondent No. 6-Manpreet Singh.

In view of submission of learned State counsel, as the parole period is now over and respondent No. 6 has already surrendered before the jail authorities, this petition has been rendered infrucutous. None has appeared for the petitioner.

Dismissed.
