**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5.

Vide order dated 4.4.2019, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali was directed to look into the mater and find out the existence of alleged threat perception to the life and liberty of the petitioners and also directed to verify the antecedents of the petitioners and their residential address.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jaspal Singh, submits that in compliance to the said order, statement of Sarpanch of village Balongi was recorded on 13.5.2019 wherein he has stated that the petitioners are not residing at the given address and similar is the statement given by Kuldeep Singh Panch.
