REKHA MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (in short 'Cr.P.C.') in FIR No.1234 dated 27.12.2015 for offence punishable under Sections 323, 341, 342, 365, 392, 307, 376, 120-B, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') and 25 of the Arms Act, registered in Police Station City Karnal, District Karnal.
Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2016; challan has been presented in the Court and the trial is in progress. The material witnesses in the case namely the prosecutrix and Pankaj, author of the FIR have already been examined and they failed to connect the petitioner with the crime. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to face the proceedings, in accordance with law and subject to the conditions that may be imposed by this Court.
Counsel for the State has not disputed the factual assertions but opposed the prayer for bail.

In view of the above without commenting upon merits of the controversy, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. However, he shall abide by the following conditions:- (i) He shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer; and (ii) He shall not leave India without the previous permission of the Court.
