Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.166 dated 21.10.2016, registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, Police Station Division No.4, District Ludhiana (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 19.03.2019 (P-2). Pursuant to order dated 08.04.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 14.05.2019 along with receipts of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. CRM-M-16096 of 2019 --2-- Class, Ludhiana, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.1027 dated 21.05.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, vide letter bearing No.451/EC dated 21.05.2019. According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, is satisfied that compromise between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.
Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, dated 21.05.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.166 dated 21.10.2016 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
Disposed of accordingly.
