IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH RSA No. 213 of 1998 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 29.10.2025 Dharam Pal and another ...Appellants

Versus

Jagdish Chand (since deceased) through LRs and others

...Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellants.

None for the respondents.

*** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.

No one has appeared on behalf of the appellants. On the previous date also none appeared for the appellants but a written request was submitted for adjournment. This appeal is pending since 1998. It seems that appellants are not interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.

In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellants to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 3.

Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
