(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.103 dated 16.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 323, 379, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 325 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Gate Hakima, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, on the basis of compromise dated 04.08.2017 (Annexure P-2). Pursuant to the order dated 23.08.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Trial Court on 18.09.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.137 dated 19.09.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar vide Endst. No.8798R dated 20.09.2017.

According to the report, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is without any Ravinder Singh 2017.10.12 13:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document pressure or coercion from anyone.

Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class dated

-2CRM-M-30755 of 2017 19.09.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.103 dated 16.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 323, 379, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 325 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Gate Hakima, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, is hereby quashed.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
