Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to protect their lives and liberty and to provide adequate security to protect them from respondent Nos. 4 to 8, who are parents, brother and relatives of petitioner No.1. The petitioners, who are present in Court today, have solemnized marriage with their own consent in accordance with law. The private respondents are not accepting the marriage of the petitioners and are extending threats to them. Copy of matriculation examination of petitioner No.1 (Annexures P-1), Copy of passport of petitioner No.2 (Annexure P-2), Marriage certificate (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners and photographs of marriage (Annexure P-4) of the petitioners have been placed on record.
After arguing for some time learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw this petition with liberty to the petitioners to approach Senior Superintendent of Police Barnala and S.H.O. Police Station Dhanaula, District Barnala for protection to their lives and liberty and to provide adequate security to protect them from respondent Nos. 4 to 8. Satyawan 2016.09.
CRM-M-31631-2016 -2Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to approach Senior Superintendent of Police Barnala and S.H.O. Police Station Dhanaula, District Barnala for protection to their lives and liberty within 7 days from today, who, after their satisfaction that the petitioners are actually facing threat, shall take necessary steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from private respondent Nos.4 to 8, as per law.
