Present criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioners praying for protection to their life and liberty, in view of the marriage solemnized by them against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 7.

Mr. Pawan Sharda, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and requisite copies of the petition have already been supplied to the State by the learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurpreet Singh has apprised the Court that statement of petitioner No.16Manjinder Kaur was recorded and she stated that at present, there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

In view of the stand taken by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.

Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
