Petitioner Manjeet Singh has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for giving direction to learned Sessions Judge, Sri Muktsar Sahib, to decide the application dated 22.08.2016 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner under Section 320 Cr.P.C. for compounding of the offence under Section 406 IPC filed in CRLA No. 35 dated 12.02.2015 titled as Majeet Singh vs. State, pending for 06.09.2016. Counsel for the petitioner at the time of arguments has argued that the application has been filed already with the Sessions Judge under Section 320 Cr.P.C. for compounding of the offence under Section 406 IPC but at the same time he also admits that at this stage no compromise has been placed along with the application nor the application has been given on behalf of the complainant also.
