The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.87 dated 14.4.2018 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 324, 148 and 149 IPC and (Sections 307 and 325 IPC, which were added later on) at Police Station Meharban, District Ludhiana.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have gone through the record.

As per the FIR, the complainant-injured was called by main accused Jaswinder Singh alias Jassi and when he reached then from back four unknown boys having baseball, danda, hockeys in their hands came and started attacking on his head. As per the order of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, there are four injuries on the vital parts of the body and there are two grievous injuries on the frontal bone and parietal HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2019.04.08 10:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-15675 of 2019 [2] bone of the complainant. One of the injuries was caused with sharp edged weapon.

Keeping in view the serious allegations against the petitioners, nature and gravity of the offences and the fact that the petitioners are required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioners are entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
