In this Writ Petition, the petitioner is challenging Rule 8 of the Border Security Force Radio Operator and Radio Mechanic (Non-Gazetted) Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2018 which provides for determination of seniority among merged cadres of Cipher with Radio Operator and Fitter with Radio Mechanic on the basis of date of promotion in the present rank. The petitioner had given a representation to the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 vide Annexure P-4 on 21.07.2021 which is said to be pending with respondent Nos.1 and 2.
