IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-30885 of 2017 Date of Decision: 23.08.2017 Renu Sharma ....Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Ms. Meenu Salwan, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for directing the official respondents to take appropriate legal action against the private respondents/their agents as they are threatening the petitioner and her daughter.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, is directed to decide representation dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-4) moved by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, however, without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-4) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
