**** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) On the last date of hearing, the following order was passed by this Court: - "Status report by way of affidavit, filed by learned State counsel, today in the Court, is taken on record.

As per status report, during the investigation the statement of Harjinder Singh, Punjabi Teacher, BSPS Khalsa High School, Mukerian and statement of Paramjit Singh, HC, P.S. Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, were recorded on 01.08.2016 and Harjinder Singh Punjabi Teacher, has handed over date birth certificate of Nandini (daughter of the petitioner) to the police of P.S. Mukerian on 01.08.2016 on which the date of birth of daughter of petitioner is 03.08.2005. On 04.11.2016, Gurvinder Singh @ Sabi Kabutarwala was joined in the investigation and no incriminating evidence has been found from him. Statement of Pinki Kumari daughter of Arvinder Kumar was recorded on 01.11.2016, who was studying in the school of the victim. CRM-M-31798-2016 -2police that he received threats on his phone No.73556-09108 from Mobile No.84376-29314. It was found from the call details that no call was made from Mobile No.84376-29314 on the mobile of petitioner from 20.07.2016 till now and the investigation in the present case is still going on. For further consideration, the matter is adjourned to 09.02.2017."

In view of the status report filed by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner intends to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed for.
