(Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 02.12.2024 (Annexure P-10) passed by Superintending Canal Officer, Patiala Canal Circle and order dated 25.09.2024 (Annexure P-9) passed by Divisional Canal Officer, Mansa Canal and Ground Water Division.

A perusal of order sheets reveals that on 10.12.2025, the following order was passed by this Court:- "A perusal of order sheets would reveal that the matter has been repeatedly adjourned either on the written request circulated on behalf of petitioner or on the oral request made on behalf of the petitioner; however, today again written request for adjournment has been circulated on behalf of the petitioner, which is totally unjustified.
In the interest of justice and as a last indulgence, adjourned to 28.01.2026; however, subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited with "Punjab and Haryana High ANKIT 2026.01.30 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh Court Bar Association Lawyers' Family Welfare Fund

As per office report, there is no information regarding payment of cost, as directed vide the aforesaid order dated 10.12.2025, nor there is any representation on behalf of petitioner; it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the instant matter any further. 4.
Keeping in view the above, the present writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution.

All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed. 6.
Copy of this order be sent to the petitioner at the address given in the Memorandum of Parties.
