(Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.86 dated 04.12.2024 under Sections 333, 115(2), 324(4), 324(5), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 registered at Police Station City Raikot, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been named in the aforementioned FIR wherein it is alleged that the petitioner was carrying a danda and has given injuries to Varinder Shah on the back of his head. He has also given 04 danda blows to Prema which hit on the shoulder of her right arm, right side of neck, left arm and left ankle. However, all the injuries were declared to be simple in nature. He further contends that apart from Section 333 of BNS, 2023, all other offences are bailable. 3.

This Court, vide order dated 20.03.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction Sonia Puri 2025.05.05 18:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 20.03.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
