Petitioners petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (Section 482 of Cr.P.C.) for quashing of FIR No. 481, dated 11.12.2020 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 379-A, 506, 34 of IPC, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act (Act No.54) of 1959, registered at Police Station Rohtak Sadar, District Rohtak (report u/s 173 Cr.P.C. presented u/ss 379-B, 392, 397, 34 of IPC and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act), and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise dated 11.03.2025 (Annexure P-2), effected between the parties. 2.

The allegations leveled in the FIR create havoc in society. Therefore, the prayer for quashing the FIR in such cases, based on a compromise, cannot be taken into consideration in view of the parameters laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in State of Madhya Pradesh v. Laxmi Narayana and others, (2019) 5 SCC 688.
