Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Only grievance of the petitioner is that he fears threat to his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 8. Thus, adequate protection be provided to him.

On asking of the court, Mr.Ankur Jain, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State. He submits that grievance of the petitioner shall be looked into by respondent No.2. Action, if any, shall be taken only as per law.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary.
