(Oral) The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner raising a grievance that the cow dung, which is accumulated in the village, is being thrown in front of the house of the petitioner which will create health hazards to the residents including the petitioner and his family, especially, in view of the pandemic of Covid-19.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already requested the respondent-authority to take an appropriate action to clean the area in front of the house of the petitioner, where the cow dung is being thrown by way of filing a representation dated 04.05.2021 (Annexure P/3), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.4 to decide the said representation by HARSHA RANI 2021.05.26 17:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Notice of motion.

Ms. Sunint Kaur, AAG, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of State of Punjab and raises no objection in case, a direction is issued to the respondent No.4 to decide the representation dated 04.05.2021 (Annexure P/3) submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, respondent No.4 is directed to decide representation dated 04.05.2021 (Annexure P/3) submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
